Why do you love training clients?

I find being able to inspire and motivate clients to reach their fitness goals extremely rewarding. I feel blessed to be a part of a client’s journey and enjoy that each person brings something different to class, inspiring and challenging me to be a better coach. For me, watching clients transform, build confidence, and develop an understanding of technique brings so much satisfaction and fulfilment to what I do. I love coming to coach sessions and sharing something I love with others and seeing its positive impact not just on a physical level but mental as well.

What is your fitness history?

I started as a dancer. I trained in all genres of dance from classical ballet to musical theatre, before working professionally overseas. Through my dance journey, I was able to gain knowledge within the fitness industry through experience and begin to understand the benefits it had in enhancing my dance skills, especially when it came to injury prevention and rehabilitation. Wanting to explore this industry further, I combined my knowledge of both dance and fitness and became a Barre instructor and later furthered my skill set with a Pilates Mat qualification. In this time my passion and intrigue for fitness have only grown further and with the encouragement of wonderful and inspiring mentors, I am currently studying a Bachelor of Health Science (Sports and Exercise Science) at Sydney Western University.

What moments are you proud of?

I am proud of the experience and knowledge I have acquired through both dance and fitness as it has enabled me to help make a positive impact not only in my life but for others. I am excited and proud to be enhancing my skill set further through my current studies and look forward to the future.

What is your fitness credo?

"Always be kind to yourself". Life is a journey to be experienced not a destination to be reached and I apply this to all areas. Although you may have a goal in sight there is always room to grow and improve both physically and mentally, there is no limit to this! Be positive and happy with where you are, acknowledge every little change and take it in your stride to push further knowing you are always being the best version of yourself at that given time.
