Red Light
Pilates

The lights go down. The nervous system follows.

Coached Pilates in a studio lit entirely in red — a deliberate down-shift at the end of your training week. Classical matwork, Pilates therapy and stretch, programmed by a registered Osteopath, with TGA-listed red light therapy devices in the room and every session capped at 10.

The Idea

Why train in red light?

Most training asks your body to switch on. Red Light Pilates is built around the opposite skill — switching off well. The studio runs in low red light for the whole session: no glare, no mirrors demanding your attention, nothing pulling you out of the work. It's the environment we choose for Core Restore because recovery is a skill, and skills need the right room to practise in.

The Pilates itself is the serious part. Classical matwork, corrective core approaches and clinical education — deep core (TVA) activation, what abdominal separation really involves, hernia awareness, and how to condition your pelvic floor properly — the things every woman is told matter but nobody ever teaches.

Alongside the room lighting we use handheld red light therapy devices that are listed with the TGA, Australia's therapeutic goods regulator. Ask us about them in session — we're happy to talk through what they are and how we use them.

“This isn't the easy class. It's the one that makes the hard ones work.”
Inside the Red Room

One room. Three expressions
of Core Restore.

The Environment

The Red Room

The whole studio runs in red light — a single, deliberate signal that this session is the down-shift of your week. Mat-based, precise and unhurried, with TGA-listed handheld red light devices in the mix.

The feel

Low light, low noise, full attention on how you move. You'll leave quieter than you arrived.

“Strong weeks are built on how well you recover between them.”
The Work

The Pilates

Classical matwork Pilates coached properly — small props, exact positions, every rep watched. Pilates therapy sessions take a corrective approach: bands, light dumbbells and clinical core work programmed by your Osteopath.

The education

TVA activation, abdominal separation, hernia awareness and pelvic floor conditioning — taught, not just mentioned.

“Precise beats hard. Every single time.”
The System

Part of Your Dose

Red Light Pilates is Core Restore — the absorption element of The Movement Method. Strong builds the load, Shred drives the demand, and this is where your body takes it all in.

Every membership includes it, and your weekly Dose prescribes it: 2 × Strong, 1 × Shred, 1 × Core Restore.

“Don't collect workouts. Take your Dose.”

The Restore Report

A weekly note on recovering well

The Restore Report is our weekly newsletter on red light, recovery and the Core Restore side of training — short, useful and written by your Osteopath.

Your Practitioner

Programmed by Dr Naomi (Osteopath)

I'm a UK-trained registered Osteopath and a US/AUS-trained exercise coach. Red Light Pilates is where my clinic thinking is most visible in the studio: the corrective work, the pelvic floor and deep core education, and the belief that recovery deserves as much design as the heavy days. If the strong sessions are the prescription, this is the part that lets it work.
